50 Years a Vegetarian

 

On July 31, I celebrated exactly 50 years since I became a vegetarian, when teaching at St. Xavier's School in Kathmandu.

America Magazine recently published my reflection on those 50 years, along with a much earlier reflection I published with America in 1979.
